Love & Salvation

God masterfully created each one of us with the freedom to love Him and one another.  

 

Sadly, our forefathers strayed from their purpose and willingly fell into sin.  As a result sin was also transferred to us and tarnished the entire human race.  

 

But God still loved the world not willing that anyone should perish.  That's why God came to earth in the form of a man.  Through one man’s (Adam’s) disobedience, death came into the world.  But through one man’s (Jesus’) obedience, eternal life came into the world and paid for all our wrongdoings on the cross.  It was a one-time deal!   

 

Through His incredible sacrifice, anyone can be forgiven and redeemed, just by believing.    

 

Would you like to meet God today?  

 

It doesn’t matter what others have done to you or the mistakes you’ve made.  God extends His nailed pierced hand to you.  He’s ready to transform your life if you will only believe.    

 

Are you willing to say "Yes" to God like a bride and groom saying "I do" at the altar?  God is waiting for you to choose.   He gave His everything for you to say, "Yes, I will accept Your offer of forgiveness.“ 

 

The thief on the cross next to Jesus had a change of heart and spoke out some random prayer:  “Lord, remember me.”  That was his cry for help.   Jesus heard his heart and responded, “Today you will be with Me in paradise.”  

 

It wasn’t complicated for the thief to be forgiven nor is it complicated for you.    You are here reading this, and Jesus is present, lovingly watching you, inviting you to reach out to Him.  

 

Are you ready for this new beginning? 

This is your moment.  Right here.  Right now.

Pray: 

 

“God, here I am, a sinner.   I’m sorry for the times I’ve failed you.  I believe Christ’s sacrifice on the cross was for me.  He took my place, my sin, my punishment.  You said that all who believe will be saved.   Lord, I believe.  I receive forgiveness.    Cleanse me, forgive me, save me, and I give my life to You.   Amen.”

 

So stop what you’re doing, close your eyes, and  in your own words pray from your heart, a similar prayer as the one you just read.

“FOR WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”
